Talen Energy Corporation operates power infrastructure in the United States. It produces and sells electricity, capacity, and ancillary services into wholesale power markets. Its reportable segments are engaged in electricity generation, marketing activities, commodity risk, and fuel management within their respective RTO or ISO markets. Its segment is PJM which includes the operating and marketing activities within the PJM market. PJM is comprised of Susquehanna Nuclear and Talen's natural gas and coal generation facilities located within the PJM market; and ERCOT and WECC that includes the operating and marketing activities within the ERCOT market for the operations of the Talen Texas power generation facilities, and the operating and marketing activities for Talen Montana's.
